Welcome to Baker's Corner Preschool
Our Coquitlam preschool serves to offer play-based classes for 3 and 4 year-old children. We are located inside Baker Drive Elementary school, within walking distance to beautiful Mundy Park and the newly renovated Como Lake Village.
Parents Are Involved, Too!
Working collaboratively as a parent-participation preschool and non-profit group, the teacher and parents work together to keep the school running smoothly. As play is the primary medium for learning, growing and communicating in the early years, our preschool strives to provide your child with multiple opportunities to discover their world through a variety of play-based experiences. Parents and teacher work together to help the children acquire fundamental skills in preparation for Kindergarten.
A Community Together
Our teacher is a licensed Early Childhood Educator (ECE) developing a curriculum based on each class's strengths and needs. We seek to nurture each child's independence, confidence, and intellectual needs in preparation for entry into the full-time Kindergarten school system. Additionally, many families find they form friendships that continue into their child's formal school years.
