Brittney Allen

Lead Teacher

Ms. Brittney holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Special Needs from Douglas College and has over ten years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator.

Her teaching approach is grounded in play-based and emergent curriculum, guided by children’s interests and curiosity. She is passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment and values the importance of free play, outdoor play, and supporting the development of the whole child.

Ms. Brittney is deeply committed to the importance of Early Childhood Education and has been teaching and building community at Baker’s Corner Preschool for over ten years.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, reading, crafting, yoga, and spending time outside in our beautiful province.

Jenny Sau

Assistant Teacher

Ms. Jenny has over 15 years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator and is a mother of two. She holds certifications in Early Childhood Education, Infant Toddler, and Special Needs.

Her teaching style is also rooted in play-based and emergent curriculum, supporting children’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development. She is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported and encouraged to explore, create, and learn.

Mrs. Jenny is proud to be part of the Baker’s Corner Preschool team and enjoys building meaningful relationships with the children, families, and the broader community.

Our educators believe that play, curiosity and children’s passions are the foundation for meaningful learning. By observing and listening to children, Ms. Brittney and Ms. Jenny thoughtfully plan experiences that support exploration, growth, and development.
