Brittney Allen

Lead Teacher

Miss Brittney graduated with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Special Needs from Douglas College. Her practice as an educator puts a large focus on emergent curriculum, which is a way of planning curriculum and activities based on the interests and passions of the children, as well as the teacher. She is also a firm believer in creating an inclusive learning environment for all children, the importance of outdoor play and free play. She believes that Early Childhood Education means the development of the whole child: cognitively, emotionally, socially and physically. Miss Brittney is very passionate about the importance of Early Childhood Education and the work she does at Baker’s Corner Preschool. In her free time Brittney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, yoga, and being outdoors in our beautiful province.

Feel free to ask her any questions you may have about our program at bakerscornerp@gmail.com.
